“We felt comfortable enough with the after-school program that we coordinated directly with the school around pickup. Everything about the process with Brittany felt straightforward and safe, which matters a lot as a parent.”
Uniting makers, teachers, leaders & learners since 2025.
We connect women and girls to the people, programs, and experiences that they've been missing, right here in Greater Cincinnati.
Brittany Gruber
I spent a decade in relationship work in annual sales, managing partnerships for a regional family nonprofit, and serving many nonprofits in a volunteer capacity. Years earlier, I built recruiting pipelines for engineering and clinical teams, which taught me that outreach is just trust-building with a different job title. I've spent just as long substitute teaching K–8, which allowed to get a glimpse into many pockets of our city.
What began as a single workshop has grown into a community hub of events, workshops, and relationship building: makers, teachers, leaders, and learners, all in the same room. Connecting the dots, it turns out, is my super power.
“It takes a village. Thanks for being a part of mine.”
Program Manager for a four-county family & youth nonprofit, managing partner relationships and event logistics.
Listing lead across $220M+ in real estate sales and 400+ closings, the transaction hub for 100+ transactions a year.
K–8 substitute teacher across Greater Cincinnati, adapting communication for every kind of learner and institution.
VP, Training & Development, elected to an 8-person executive team; stewarded $75K grant for a local diaper bank as Program Development Chair.
A few moments from the community.
Diagnosed with ADHD and autism later in life, I know what it's like to navigate a world that wasn't built for the way your brain works best.
That journey fuels the work. I love helping others understand themselves, embrace their strengths, and advocate for what they need, and helping organizations learn what it really means to be genuinely inclusive.
Trusted with the people who matter most.
“We're genuinely excited to collaborate with Girlhood. Brittany is organized, communicative, and deeply committed to creating events that serve the community.”
